To follow up on Ian Worley's good news about mud at Brilyea Access in 
Addison, my Better Birding lecture series continues THIS MONDAY EVENING, 
July 2, in Montpelier at 6:30pm with "Solving Shorebirds." I'll use 
images, video and the usual humor to explain a system for identifying 
and enjoying sandpipers and plovers, some of which are already moving 
south. (Yeah, no kidding.)

Also, appearing today (a day early) on the The Daily Wing is my "Monday 
Morning Birding Basics" essay on using the harmony of families (or not) 
in bird identification.
