Highlights of a day of kayaking the cove were a Greater Yellowlegs and
a Giant Swallowtail.  The swallowtail is the second seen by me this
summer: the first at East Creek Wildlife Management Area in Orwell on
June 9. My first sighting of this butterfly in VT was August 16, 2010
at Dead Creek WMA in Addison.  Are there any other records for the
species in the NH-VT section of Connecticut River Valley?
