Got a chance to hike out to Peacham Bog yesterday, in hopes of seeing what
bog specialist species bred out there. 2 or 3 Lincoln's Sparrows were
singing from the bog, and a family of 4 Palm Warblers were calling and
begging insistently. Despite the heat of the day, still managed 12 warbler
species and 1 more state bird (Lincoln's Sparrow). Still no luck on
tracking down an elusive Philadephia Vireo..
