Some observations from yesterday 2012-08-15.
Four Sandhill Crane at sunrise, [but unfortunately cloudy], about three
quarter miles north of the Bristol Pond Access. The group was foraging about
30 meters east of the main road.
Four Black-crowned Night-Heron at Muddy Brook including one juvenile.
Six Caspian Tern and two Great Egret at Shelburne Bay.
Seven Common Goldeneye at Meach Cove along with a Cooper's Hawk.
A Merlin at Charlotte Town Beach and a single Bonaparte's Gull close to
shore. [Checking with Ian about the two Short-billed Dowitcher!]
A Bald Eagle at the Charlotte Ferry.
