The same pair of birds have been returning to that site ever year for
over a decade now and are pretty watched pretty closely by a handful
of people in the area. For the last 4 or 5 years they have
successfully been fledging young that have then returned with them the
following Spring. The young from past years get chased off the lake
by the adults some time around Mothers day, I don't think anybody has
figured out where they go.
