A few birds have been seen in the early evenings over the last several
days; numbers increased last night with a stream of between 30 and 50 birds
seen over about a 30 minute period all heading due south.  Dragonfly
numbers are also on the increase. A couple of merlins appear to be taken
advantage of the dragonfly concentrations over the meadows.  From
