Yup, that sure looks like a chukar.  Every once in awhile they appear,  
sometimes in the most surprising places.  In May of '06 I had one  
strolling along my front yard in Hinesburg, noisily calling chuKAR  
chuKAR chuKAR.  I have no idea where it came from.
