Blue-gray gnatcatcher and redstart chased each other in the willows-----wood thrush sang its summer swan song and the black and white warblers
crept along the tree branches.
A beautiful northern water snake was sadly dead by the road side.
Does anyone know if crows seek out minerals by eating sand? Several of them were in the sandpit seemingly doing just that. Of course I guess there
might have been small insects but it didn't appear to be so.
