Or the Honda CRV stuck behind a locked gate that was closed by the caretaker
when we were doing our Xmas bird count at private estate in Ferrisburg.
Only determined birders would solve the dilemma by dismantling the hinges,
opening the "locked" gate, reconstructing the still locked gate, and driving
away.  Ask Judy Peterson about this.
