To Bruce MacPherson's list for the Tracy Rd pond in South Hero, we can add:
Solitary Sandpiper (3 seen today)
Green Heron (1) - this year the Green Herons seem to be spending more time
in the trees rather than at the water
Osprey (1) in flight overhead.
In the trees at the far end of the marsh south of Tracy Rd is an Osprey
nest. There are two more nests on the poles in the power line right of way
where it crosses the South Hero Recreation Trail.
