Hey Eric (and all),
I don' think it's that the Alder is still singing, but that it's
started singing again! Alder Flycatcher is a common breeder here at
North Branch Nature Center (Montpelier) and they went through a quiet
period in July. Only in the past two weeks have they started singing
again... this morning, they were singing vigorously. Hope you add
many more birds to your new yard list!
Best,
Larry
