The Olive-sided Flycatcher here has been calling persistently the past few
weeks, and is often very visible. If you would like to see this bird, follow
the directions in the link, but park on the grass at the bottom of the right
drive. Across from the drive is an extensive wetland. The Olive-sided is
often perched and calling on the snags you will see near you. You're welcome
to follow the short trail into the water to view from there, though you can
see the snags from the road. Just follow your ears. Morning is the best
time, though he'll often call during the rest of the day.
You don't need to contact me before you come. Just park as noted. Good luck!
