Interesting, Sue.

When Pat and I were in Shoreham a week or so ago, we saw a large group -- 50+ -- of crows around and over a corn field between 22a and the lake.  In / around them -- hanging out in the trees on the edge of the field, and flying about -- was a group of about 15 ravens.  Some of the crows appeared to be doing courtship paired flying dances.  To top it off, there were several TV's that some of the ravens were soaring among.

I don't often see them in group-sized numbers (the ravens), nor do I recall often seeing them proximate to crows.  Single ravens being harassed by crows, yes.  But this mixed convention was perplexing to me.  Any thoughts?
