Went up to the Thurman Dix Reservoir in East Barre and Very much to my surprise I spotted a Great Egret.  I've been chasing birds up there for 12 years and this is the first time I've seen one.  I didn't see any others.  The water levels have dropped significantly at the reservoir.  It was feeding in the reeds near newly exposed areas and from what I could tell it was catching minnows.
