Thursday evening we were delighted by an Eastern Wood-Peewee who flew more than 50
sorties from a beach of Butternut tree near our garden and pool.
Based on Sibley clues, we believe it was a juvenile -- clean Buffy wing bars in particular.
He did not seem to be bothered by our presence 15 feet away and just kept repeating his
efforts from one of several prominent bare branches. It looked like practice.
We often hear but rarely see Peewee on our property. This was fun.
