Hi Roo,
I went in from the north edge and followed the shoreline, being careful not
to step on vegetation. There is one area that I crossed where there was
about 4" of water to go through (it's kind of brown & muddy). Other than
that area I was able to walk along the shoreline. I am not sure if people
are allowed to go that way or not. I have seen people out there for years
now. It seems to be a popular spot for wind surfers to launch, people in
kayaks to get out and walk around and others that are simply walking out
there. . .
