Hello all,
I was at Delta Park again this morning and while looking at 4 Dunlin, Nikolas
Kotovich showed up. We birded together for about 4 hours. We tried with a
considerable effort to relocate the Ipswich Sparrow but could not. We did
however find many great birds and had a super outing. My complete list:

Red-necked Phalarope 1 Found in the water next to the Black-bellied
Plovers & 1 American Golden-Plover. The plovers were on a sand bar. It had a
dark cap, and patch behind the eye. Thin bill and dark back. It stayed for no
more than 20 seconds after I found it. It flew and we did not see it again. I
found it at 10:26 a.m. This is the 3rd one I've seen at Delta Park this year.
The other 2 were found on August 25th & August 28th.
