Maybe an eccentric aneurysm is one with mural thrombus which puts the lumen "off center"? So if the lumen is left of center in eccentric aneurysms (like Doug's aneurysms that live in big homes and relax in 60 foot yachts), what would you call an aneurysm with the lumen right of center?
Inquiring eccentric minds want to know.

Lol, seriously though...Maybe it refers to an exceptionally diseased aorta with multiple issues such as a supra/Infrarenal/and iliac involvement with fusiform/saccular component and atherosclerotic stenosis (or any "combination" of the above). In other words, any aneurym that one name won't completely describe it is "eccentric"? Any takers?
