Not far from that neck of the woods in South Burlington, while
driving down Dorset Street a couple of hours ago I saw a male
Pileated Woodpecker clinging upside down to a skinny branch that was
hanging out over the road. What an odd position to be in!
...Indeed, you could say he was a bird with a hangover.
