A huge flock of Bohemian Waxwings (at least 100) is delighting students and staff here at Central Vermont Adult Basic Education in Morrisville (right next to the Post Office).
The main flock is perching in a tall bare maple near the Puffer Methodist Church. Smaller groups (15-25 birds) are making forays to the crabapple trees just outside our second story windows, giving FABULOUS close-up views! Some birds are only 6 feet away! Absolutely gorgeous!!!
