And for the record, those Dynafit DyNA EVO boots (w/ thanks to GMOLfoot.com 
for cramming my 265mm foot into a 279mm bsl) weigh *less* than three pounds 
... per pair!  (Skied really well too, even on the steeper pitches of North 
American, which were very scraped off toward the end of the day.)
