Greetings Lepsters!

Here at the Fairbanks Museum, we are planning a new exhibit on our Community of Observers, a Citizen Science initiative that covers four disciplines:  plants, birds, butterflies and weather.  I am handling the butterfly portion and am looking for some fresh specimens of Vermont species to use in the exhibit.  Most specifically, the 12 representative species are:

Monarch/White Admiral/Red-spotted Purple/Canadian Tiger Swallowtail/Eastern Tiger Swallowtail/Baltimore/Great Spangled Fritillary/Northern Azure/Harvester/Peck's Skipper/Silver-spotted Skipper/Mourning Cloak.  If I could get two or three specimens each of these 12 species, I would be thrilled and the collector would get recognition in the exhibit credits.  We can spread them here, but they need to be in pristine condition.  But I will take whatever I can get since part of the exhibit will be a collage of butterflies, exotic and local.  We can get the exotics from a butterfly house,  but I am especially keen on getting some of the smaller, less seen varieties, such as elfins and hairstreaks.  This is a great project for someone who likes to collect!  You have until fall to accomplish this.  

Please let me know who, if anybody, is interested in doing this.  I'm afraid there is no money, only fame ;-)
