Dear EWB community,
Elections are here. If you are interested in running for a
position on the Engineers Without Border-UVM Executive Board please
email me, [log in to unmask], with your full name, positions you are
interested in running for, and an optional blurb about why you should
get the position/s. The positions are as follows.
President - The president is responsible for organizing all meetings.
They are also responsible for keeping in contact with EWB-HQ and
having a working understanding of all the projects. The president is
the primary club signer with the SGA and is responsible for handling
SGA communications.
Vice President - The vice president is responsible for assisting the
president in all club affairs. The VP also works closely with the
event coordinator.
Treasurer - The treasurer handles funds for both the SGA and the SoE
accounts. The treasurer is the second club signer for the SGA account.
Secretary - The secretary is responsible for keeping records of club
meetings, and manages the listserv.
Event Coordinator - The event coordinator works with the VP to plan
events and fundraisers.
Outreach Coordinator - The outreach coordinator is responsible for
member recruitment and club advertising. They also work with the Event
Coordinator to insure successful events.
Webmaster/Technology Coordinator - The webmaster is responsible for
the UVM Lynx site and the EWB UVM website. They can also branch out
into any other form of technology outreach they deem fit.
Also, Alec Badeau, the current president, will be promoted to the
position of co-president to assist the president in transitions.
