WOW! Fantastic encounter of a Peregrine in pursuit of a Rock Pigeon, today The latter went under a bridge over the Battenkill; the falcon made three more passes over the road/bridge - and my car - providing great confirming views of the distinctive face pattern. No late lunch! Also 3 pairs of C Merganzers, Hooded Mergs and Mallards along with 5 Canada Geese on a little open pond in E. Dorset.
