Interesting about an abundance of cottontails - we have none here at our
house in Bennington. Usually we are overrun.

Out this morning at Wheeler Park in South Burlington and spotted a Turkey
Vulture soaring overhead, also a red-winged blackbird setting up shop in
the cattails over by Park Rd and Dorset.
Any one else notice an abundance of cottontails this year?
Also, I was down in Boston this weekend and watched gray squirrels eating
the open flowers of silver maples! So exciting!
