At 4:30 on March 17, there were 8 bald eagles on the ice and in the trees at the Sandbar WMA to the south side of the oxbow where the water is on both sides of Route 2. About a mile before the causeway.
Large numbers of gulls, ducks, crows, two ravens, and some eagles in the same spot about 3 pm, but they were gone when I returned at 4:30, except for the eagles. The water is opening up at the Sandbar and it is attracting large numbers of ducks, gulls, crows and other birds.
