It’s spring and love is in the air - literally! We’ll listen and watch for
the dramatic courtship flight of the American Woodcock, a sandpiper which
nests along the North Branch. With luck, we may also be serenaded by
Wilson’s Snipe and we’re sure to hear a chorus of Spring Peepers.**
*Birding Moose Bog*

Fee: $30 members, $40 nonmembers, free for teens
This famous Northeast Kingdom hotspot is well worth the drive. We’ll seek
the unique boreal birds such as Spruce Grouse, Gray Jay, Boreal Chickadee,
and Black-backed Woodpecker. We’ll also enjoy the unique flora (such as
Pitcher Plants) and maybe even see a moose!
