Anybody know how to set up google analytics for a UVM blog?

I need to track traffic and user behavior to my blog, but I do not seem to have access to the GA plug-ins. 

When I click on the "google analytics" plug in that is available as an option on the Wordpress (via UVM) blog I get a message that says that I "don't have sufficient permissions to access the page."
