Sadly, a killdeer laid an egg on the school playground's wood chips sometime over the weekend and was very disturbed by the kids when they went out to play today. An adult moved the egg off the playground into a grassy area. Just wondering if anyone knows if there is any way to save the egg and have the killdeer reclaim it in a safe place.
