I know of a case where the female patient was medicated and not alert when a male tech (no, not me) did a LE venous scan. She reported that he had molested her, and even though her story changed from day to day, they had to suspend the tech for three months pending investigation. (I know the tech, and it just wasn't credible.)
The suits are on a hair-trigger for anything the slightest bit dodgy, and we need to be careful even when the likelihood is tiny; it would be quite a nightmare to be accused of something like that.
