This morning there were several species (list below). I'm delighted that Jim saw the Pectoral Sandpiper too - I'm never really confident with shorebird ID so agreement from another birder helps!.

Semipalmated Plover 2
Killdeer 8 The two pairs that nested in this area were very successful!
Spotted Sandpiper 1
Semipalmated Sandpiper 1
Least Sandpiper 2
Pectoral Sandpiper 1 I don't do enough shorebird watching to feel 100% sure of this ID - but I watched the bird through my scope for over 10 minutes and feel pretty confident. The bird was noticeably larger than the Semipalmated Plover near it. The main color was a range of browns. The breast appeared dark brown ending with a clean line; the belly was very pale. The bill was a little longer than the width of the head and looked slightly drooping. When feeding, the bird used a quick stabbing motion. It walked somewhat slowly and in a dignified manner from feeding place to feeding place.

Warbling Vireo 1
American Crow 1
Tree Swallow 2
Bank Swallow 1
Barn Swallow 10
Black-capped Chickadee 1
