Just got back from bringing my feathered friend down to Julianne Parker in Addison to see what she can do.

Subject: [VTBIRD] Injured Belted Kingfisher


I have an injured bird hopping around my lawn in South Hero. I first saw it last night (evening) but just now I see it has made its way up to my house - I guess it really would like a bit of help. 

I called Audrey von Lepel a name off the VT Fish & Wildlife Rehabilitator list & left a message. Does anyone have any other ideas? I will try to get it into a cat carrier to keep it safe.
