As Roy Pilcher reported the other day, the loon family at Kent Pond is down to one young. We also heard a Yellow-billed Cuckoo near the dam. In all we totaled 21 species. Further along the Appalachian Trail, we heard or saw 23 species including numerous Winter Wrens.
