Hi David,
Casual stops have located nothing of particular interest in western
Addison County. Flooded spots in corn fields have not drawn anything so
far, and they are drying rapidly. Tried to find some migrant shorebirds
from the air yesterday, but drew a blank. Checked out corn fields,
flooded grasslands, and bay heads. However, ever hopeful I keep
looking. Swallow numbers are rapidly climbing.
Perhaps you will find where they all are hiding out.
Thanks for all the sightings and reports over the past two summers. Hope
to see you back this way from time to time!
Ian
