Today, 24 Sep, I noticed that a Least Sandpiper was limping.
An uploaded photo shows its odd lumpy right foot.

Speaking of lumps -- a few fat hummingbirds have been added
to the Flickr page on either side of the sandpiper photo.

The regular evening-feeding marble-shaped hummingbird(s)
were missing yesterday and today; but during mid-day today,
the level of syrup in both feeders dropped significantly.
Another migrant or two must have fueled up on the way by.
