A cold 47 degree morning with strong winds from the north and heavy cloud
cover brought several skeins of Canada geese moving though at mid-morning.
W@hile keeping an eye on the geese I noticed two kettles of broad-winged
hawks spiraling in the same southerly direction as the geese. First time
I've seen kettles over our house. 4 osprey also straggled through with a
couple of redtails to add to the raptor list for the day.

Also a hummingbird is still tanking up at the feeder. A good start to the
day!
