The recent discussion about the legality of picking up a bird feather that we find when walking in the woods reminded me of a recent article I read in the New Yorker Magazine.   The article by Julian Rubinstein is called 'Operation Easter' and deals with 'The hunt for illegal egg collectors' in the United Kingdom. I thought it was a very interesting article. The link below should bring up the article for those who are interested in reading it.
