I headed out with the intentions of walking for an hour on the farm, but never left the immediate yard around the house.  Big group of waxwings working on the cranberry bushes.  Turkeys in the field.  Two Hermit Thrushes in the top of a crab tree in the yard.  And two Bluebirds in the back yard Maple.  There was one American Redstart -- a female.  I was surprised to find that this bird is not on our species list for this time of year.  I had good long views of it at close range, so I'm positive of the ID.
