Two not so solitary solitary sandpipers were observed in a small muddy spot by Otter Creek. The curious thing about the mud is that it was boiling up no unlike the thermo mud pools at Yellowstone. The birds were probing about that area. 
In my yard a lone bay-breasted came thru this morning.
