Abundance of ripening fruit.  Berries in question are ~7 mms in diameter and 15-20 on a sprig. Will have to check the leaves next time!

Wind was more northwesterly than westerly, will make the change!

Lincoln's Sparrow was well seen, not too active.

Comments:     Heavy low cloud, strong westerly winds.

Common Loon  3     One adult and juvenile on pond and one observed flying in 
northerly direction.

Swainson's Thrush  1     Plucking and eating Black Cherry berries.  
Did not tarry as did the waxwings!

feasting on ripened Black Cherry/Chokecherry berries.

Pine Warbler  1     Bold white wing-bars.  Yellow wash on throat merging into 
white belly and under tail.  Darker crown, no eye-ring observed nor tail spots.

Lincoln's Sparrow  1     Gray face, buffy flanks with fine dark streaking, small 
central spot, finely split crown streak, breast and belly white, did not call in 
response to "pishing".
Rose-breasted Grosbeak  2     One observed plucking berries, one heard calling.
