Hi all,

I was at The Charlotte Town Beach this morning (8:09 a.m. to 8:49 a.m.) I saw 7 species of shorebirds. The following were all seen on the spit in front of Holmes Creek:

Semipalmated Plover- 1j
Killdeer- 6
Solitary Sandpiper- 1
Spotted Sandpiper- 1
Sanderling- 1j   This bird flew into my scope view and the first thing I noticed was its' obvious white wing stripe. It then touched down on the edge of the spit, giving me a good look. I saw a small black patch below but at the front of its' folded wing. It only stayed for 2-3 minutes and I did not see it again.
Semipalmated Sandpiper- 1j
Least Sandpiper- 1j

Lagoon Rd. in Hinesburg (9:55 a.m. to 10:18 a.m.)

Killdeer- 1
Solitary Sandpiper- 2
Least Sandpiper- 1
Pectoral Sandpiper- 2
Wilson's Snipe- 9

I also stopped at  the Harbor Rd. end of the Ti-Haul trail in Shelburne and had 9 species of Warblers. I was standing next to the turn to the new dog park (7:14 a.m. to 7:49 a.m.):

Tennessee Warbler- 3
Yellow Warbler- 2
Chestnut-sided Warbler- 2
Yellow-rumped Warbler (Myrtle)- 1
Black-and-white Warbler- 1
American Redstart- 2
Ovenbird- 1 (heard then seen)
Common Yellowthroat- 1
Wilson's Warbler- 2
 
I also stopped at Red Rocks Park for about 5 minutes (around 6:15 a.m.) I was there a bit too early for good lighting.

Black-throated Blue Warbler- 1
Black-throated green Warbler- 1
