This afternoon a Northern Mockingbird flew across Bostwick Rd. near the
intersection with Bostwick Farm Rd.;on to the Shelburne Town Beach at about
1;30 pm adult Bald Eagle preened atop a dead tree on the spit of land at
the northern boundary of Meach Cove at the Beach. (When I went back at 3:30
pm the Eagle was still there in the same tree! ) At the Charlotte Town
Beach there were at least 4 Kildeer. (No magic scope to search for
Jaegers.....)
