If it were not for the many consspiracists who disrupt the left with their
nonsense about 9/11 and JFJ this kind of disinformation by the CIA would not
work. The CIA is the enemy; they do what they do. But friends who play into
the hands of the CIA are something different. I've always read maggie's
posts with interests, but if this post means what it seems to mean -- i.e.,
a defense of conspiricism on 9/11 & JFK I'm afraid I will have to add her
name to my kill file.

FOIA request, that labeling views that cast doubt on official stories as
"conspiracy theories" to discredit them has been an active strategy of the
CIA since the time of the Warren Commission report on JFK assassination,
when CIA instructed all its operatives, particularly its assets in the media
and in the political apparatus to do the perception management for their
purpose of defending the official story:
