My understanding is that all of those images would be required if you hadn't already labeled one of the images as pre. As our basic images, we always take origin ICA, prox ICA, mid ICA and distal ICA. If there is a stenosis in the prox ICA, when I take the origin ICA image, I can annotate it with "Pre" and then don't take an additional image. Obviously, this is if the origin is, in fact, where I would want to take my pre velocity. As well, if mid ICA is where I want to take my post velocity, then I can label the mid ICA image with "post." I take additional images when the pre and post areas fall outside of where I would take my "basic" images. Does that make sense?
