Around 3:00 Thursday a flock of 500-800 Snow Geese flew south over the Lemon
Fair in Weybridge and seemed to be dropping down toward the
Weybridge/Cornwall line. At 3:15 several strings of Snow Geese numbering
1,000 - 1,200 flew much higher southwest over Weybridge and headed over
southern Snake Mountain. They were too far south to be heading for Dead
Creek and seemed to be remaining very high up. Again, beautiful sequins
against a pure blue sky.
One Northern Shrike was perched at the base of Snake Mountain north. Only
two Blue Jays anywhere near the shrike.
