Was lucky enough to observe a Northern Shrike (successfully) dive bombing a Rough Legged Hawk in a tall oak this morning about 11:15 am - about 1/3 of the way in the access road to Dead Creek.

No sign of the "diamonds in the sky" of Snow Geese. 

So very grateful for all the generous postings on this site - and how the descriptions and often photos or videos really make it almost as good as being there.
