Kent Pond, as indicated below, is covered with ~20% thin ice around the shoreline. I was "stumped" by a bird circling in the low cloud and calling persistently with a single note about every third or fourth second. The call sounded to me like "tchew...tchew... Any suggestions that I can follow-up on?
Limited sighting indicated bird was about pipit size, smaller than a robin.
