I looked back to December of 2012 and noticed there was one post about Snowy Owls and several about SEOwls.  2011 had quite a bit of acitivity.  This December there has been a lot of activity in the first 5 days. What is the migration pattern for these owls?   Can we expect to see a lot this winter?  Do Snowy's and Short Eared Owls fly hand in hand?
