Are you interested in the environment? Education? Both? Join SEEDS, Student Environmental Educators Doing Service! SEEDS is a UVM Volunteers In Action (VIA) organization focused on teaching Burlington students about the environment. As a volunteer you will teach a 1-hour lesson each week at a Burlington elementary, middle, or high school, or lead a nature-focused story hour at the Fletcher Free Library downtown. If interested, stop by our first meeting of the Spring Semester:

Wednesday, January 22nd at 7:30 p.m. in Aiken 112.

We hope to see you there! If you cannot make the meeting and are interested in volunteering with SEEDS, do not hesitate to contact either of us at the e-mails listed below.

A side note to keep in the back of your minds. Kaylyn and I will be unable to run SEEDS next year and we are looking for 2-3 enthusiastic individuals to take over the program. The job entails coordinating between volunteers and schools to make sure our program continues into the future. No prior experience is necessary! This is a great, flexible leadership opportunity. If interested feel free to chat with us at the first meeting or send us an email. Thanks a bunch!

Your fellow SEEDs coordinators,

Kaylyn Blair and Claire Wiggin
