Middlebury, South Street extension, about 7 am. Short-eared owl flying west over field west of Middlebury Kennel.
Route 116, between Bristol and Monkton, mid-morning. Turkey Vulture. For what it’s worth. TV’s were non-existent, or nearly so, when I arrived in Vermont in 1962. I have now seen them in Vermont in every month of the year.
About noon, big female (presumably) Cooper’s Hawk flying south over the Burlington police headquarters. Any significance here?
